# Package locations and source fetching

This overlay keeps each package in a category/package directory. The ebuild filename includes the package version. Rust packages use Gentoo's `cargo` eclass and crate distfiles from the versions pinned in the matching upstream `Cargo.lock`.

Each ebuild fetches an archive of its upstream Git repository at the listed release tag. The Wayfinder archive is declared as `https://git.anchorhost.eu/wfalkowski/wayfinder/archive/0.1.tar.gz`; Wayter uses the corresponding `wayter/archive/0.1.tar.gz` URL. Crate versions must remain aligned with that tag's `Cargo.lock`.
